URS OF HAZRAT BU ALI SHAH QALANDAR (QSA)

We are also wishing everyone a blessed URS (annual commemoration of passing) of the renowned Sufi saint, Hazrat Khawaja Sharafuddeen Bu Ali Shah Qalandar (Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu) (QSA). He is from the Chishti Order and is one of the most famous Qalandars.

He was born in Panipat, Haryana, India. He completed his studies at an early age, and then taught near the Qutub Minar in Delhi for 20 years.

The shaykh spent a large period of his life in asceticism (riyazat) and meditation. He lived in Panipat until he passed ahead. He called people to God and served people of all faiths.

He also wrote a collection of Persian poetry by the name of "Diwan Hazrat Sharafuddeen Bu Ali Qalandar" which was later translated by Khawaja Shahudin (QSA) in Punjabi.

His maqam (tomb) is in Panipat, India. His maqam continues to attract a large number of visitors from all different faiths due to its magnetic spiritual force.
