SHAYKH SABIR PAK

Shaykh Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar QSA often used to say, “With time, my Sabir’s jalaal (majesty) will turn into jamaal (beauty).”

In the book, Tadhkira Anwar-i-Sabiri, Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat Ali explains an incident after he left the Darbar Sharif of Hazrat Makhdoom Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir Pak Qaddas Allahu Sirrahu “QSA” (May Allah sanctify his secret).

He said that he once visited the Darbar Sharif on Eid, and remained there the entire day. He forgot to eat that day, so he suddenly felt very hungry when he left the Darbar Sharif at 11:00 p.m. at night.

He walked along the thick forest at night time, and was desperate for food but all the kitchens were closed. As he approached the bridge, he heard a voice that said “Oh young man, come along, I will feed you with rice.” He was very scared, but he walked towards the bridge and saw two young men dressed in nice clothes. They were sitting on the bridge with a pan full of rice. Abu Anees began wondering who these young men were and why they were standing in the night time near the jungle. He went near them and asked “Why do you sit here?”

The two young men replied “O’ brother, you are hungry. Have rice and take your way.” Abu Anees said that he had never eaten such delicious rice before in his life.

Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal QSA had a special attachment since his early spiritual seclusions to Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA. The resemblance in Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal’s QSA meditations and spiritual inclination towards Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA are well known. He was a known favorite of Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA.

Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal QSA used to walk sometimes to the Darbar Sharif of Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA at the instruction of his murshid (spiritual guide), Hazrat Mohammad Hasan Shah QSA and spend most of the day there. It is said that the students of tareeqat (spiritual path) obtained their certificates and went to the Darbar Sharif of Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA in Kalyar Sharif for their confirmations. We can only imagine the spiritual gifts and mysteries given to Shaykh Mohammad Khushhal QSA from Hazrat Sabir Pak QSA.

O’Allah for the sake of all your prophets and saints, please fulfill all my needs
