MILAD UN NABI

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا

Verily, Allah and His Angels shower their blessings (yusalluna) upon the Prophet. O’Believers! Invoke Allah’s blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.

(Surah 33: Al-Ahzab, Verse 56)

The act of sending blessings on the Prophet ‎ﷺ is the only act commanded by Allah ‎ﷻ where He himself is doing the same. The Arabic verb yusalluna encompasses past continuous, present continuous and future tenses. This means that Allah ‎ﷻ has been performing this act since the beginning of creation and will continue to do so until the end of time. Therefore, it must mean that Allah ‎ﷻ first created the Nur-e-Muhammadi ﷺ before any other creation.

Allah ‎ﷻ also states in the Holy Qur’an:

فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلَىٰ هَٰؤُلَاءِ شَهِيدًا

Just imagine how they will feel when We shall bring a witness from every nation and call upon you, O’Muhammad as a witness against them?

(Surah 4: An-Nisaa, Verse 41)

In this verse, Allah ‎ﷻ states that the prophet of every nation will be a witness for his nation, but He will bring Sayyidina Rasūlullāh ‎ﷺ as a witness over all of them. This means that Sayyidina Rasūlullāh ﷺ was a witness of all the nations in the past and will be a witness for his nation as well.

We also know that Shaitaan (Satan) has been around since the beginning and will exist until the end to lead humankind astray. So Allah ‎ﷻ protected humankind with Sayyidina Rasūlullāh ﷺ who is a Mercy for the entire universe.

This is the day to be happy and celebrate the birth of the Best of Creation and the Door to Allah ‎ﷻ (Bab-ul-Allah). May this day be a means for us to attain closeness to our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

O’Lord of all the worlds, give us sincere love for your Beloved,

for the sake of Sayyidatina Fatima Az-Zahra RAA

Ishq de Mahboob ka hum ko ya Ilahul Alameen,

Sayyidatina Masooma Hazrat Fatima ke Wastey.
