SHAYKH MUKHLISUR RAHMAN JAHANGIRI
The world famous Darbar Mirzakhil Sharif in Bangladesh is of extreme importance for our spiritual lineage as it holds the tombs of the great saints, Hazrat Shah Jahangir (I) Mawlana Mukhlisur Rahman (QSA), Hazrat Shah Jahangir (II) Fakhrul Arefin Abdul Hai (QSA) and Hazrat Shah Jahangir (III) Shamsul Arefin Mawlana Mohammad Maksusur Rahman (QSA). All our shuyukh, Hazrat Khwaja Mohammad Hasan Shah (QSA), Hazrat Khwaja Mohammad Inayath Hasan Shah (QSA) and Hazrat Khwaja Mohammad Nabi Raza Shah (QSA) have all presented themselves at Darbar Mirzakhil Shareef for blessings.
Hazrat Khwaja Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah (QSA) also had great love and respect for our shuyukh in Bangladesh. He would narrate their lives to mureeds from the book, Seerat-e Fakhrul Arifeen, and would relate quotes directly from Hazrat Mawlana Abdul Hai (QSA). He visited Darbar Mirzakhil and presented Hazrat Shah Jahangir (IV) Tajul Arefin Mawlana Areful Hai with beautiful garlands that is still remembered at the Darbar Mirzakhil Sharif.
Hazrat Khwaja Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah (QSA) was amazed at the love, manners, respect and aura of the Darbar. He would tell his mureeds about how silence is religiously observed at Darbar Mirzakhil. He spoke about how he stayed at Hindustani Hut and the great hospitality shown in the Khanqah for the visiting people. He often spoke about how Hazrat Shah Jahangir (IV) Mawlana Areful Hai (QSA) resembled his forefathers along with his extreme humility and hospitality. The great grand shaykh of our silsila, Hazrat Shah Sayyid Imdad Ali (QSA) gave this title “Shah Jahangir” to his disciple (mureed) Hazrat Mukhlisur Rahman Jahangir (QSA).
The love and affection shared between Hazrat Khwaja Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah(QSA) and Hazrat Mawlana Areful Hai (QSA) continues to this day through their successors. His Holiness Hazrat Shah Jahangir (V) Dr. Maksudur Rahman who is the Nayeb-e-Sajjadah Nashin (Successor) of Silsila-e-Aaliya, Jahangiriah, Darbar Mirzakhil Sharif has produced excellent works to spread the teachings of Islam and promotes humanitarian work.
The same love and affection is also shared between Hazrat Sufi Jawwad Ahmed Khushhali and Mohammad Masudur Rahman (Sarfaraz Mia) who coordinates with all the Jahangiri branches and is engaged in great charity work.
Hazrat Sufi Jawwad Ahmed Khushhali (The only custodian, First successor and the Current Sajjada Nasheen of Darbar E khushhaliya) makes it a point to attend Jashne-e-Jahangiri in New Delhi, India to meet and pay high respects to Hazrat Shah Jahangir (IV) Mawlana Areful Hai and Hazrat Shah Jahangir (V) Dr. Maksudur Rahman. Hazrat Sufi Jawwad Ahmed Khushhali has followed the teachings of our Mashaikhs from a tender age. He manages Darbar E Khushhaliya and takes care of all the khanqah affairs with great hospitality for visitors similar to how Hazrat Khwaja Mawlana Mohammad Khushhal Shah (QSA) did during his lifetime. He conducts spiritual gatherings in various parts of India as a part of the expansion of Silsila-e- Khushhaliya.
